Cheyanna’s Champions for Children began with one family. ONE seed planted that has grown and multiplied into a fruitful and flourishing harvest of God’s love, hope and healing.
Our entire CC4C community has become family. We will always be a family and for 13 years we have been intentionally building our CC4C family legacy.
We believe legacy is not just what we leave behind but the essence of what we build through our daily actions. I call it our LIVING Legacy. An active legacy, a positive and profound legacy. One seed, one family, at a time.
I have become keenly aware of the countless ways our legacy lives on. Generation after generation. CC4C is a multi-generational family. We listen and learn from the generations before us and we believe faith in the next generation is EVERYTHING.
We have a unique and beautiful illustration of the expansive nature of our living legacy. We are grateful for the leaders, advisors and mentors and VIP advocates who have shared wisdom with us in the beginning years of CC4C and uplifted our children who are now thriving as young adults.
We are grateful for the servant leaders for our 2025 Night 2 Uplift, our co-chairs Jen Harper and Sarah Heidler and our entire N2U committee. And all those who donated goods and services and packages for the live and silent auction.
We are grateful for the innovation of 20 somethings who now serve on our advisory board with strategy, AI, outreach and development.
We are grateful for our teen advocate entrepreneurs who have created businesses to raise money for our children. Lily Price created delicious decorated sugar cookies raising over $3000. And our Teen Advocates of the year, Rett Berger and Truman Bares raising $4360 with a golf tournament for kids and mobile detailing.
We are grateful for our CC4C Spotlight and Champion and Alumni families whose resilience, strength, and dedication is an inspiration for us all.
Last weekend, we welcomed into our CC4C family a newborn sibling. From our newborn to our youngest CC4C child of 5 years old to our teen CC4C children and our CC4C alumni. Everyone is a gift to our family.
Every prayer we pray, every gift we give, every sacrifice we make, and every step of faith we take is an inheritance left to the next generation.
Past. Present. Future. Together, we will continue to collectively contribute to our living legacy.
