David Garza – Peyton’s Champion Athlete Ambassador Devoted husband and father of 2; Six time Ironman Athlete; Eleven time Austin Marathon runner; voted 2010 Austin’s Best Triathlete Peyton Dotson, a 10-year-old Warrior, was suddenly sidelined with Staph (MRSA) infection in the knee. He encountered several blood clots because of the infection, most concerning in his lungs. He was hospitalized for 31 days undergoing several surgeries and multiple procedures before getting on top of it. Our motto was Faith, Fight, Finish from 2 Timothy 4:7. It was our good fortune to connect with Cheyanna Foundation and teammate David Garza. David and the Foundation have done so much to keep Peyton motivated to fight the good fight, finish the race, and faith that he can do it!
