Jax experienced a stroke in utero due to thrombocytopenia that caused his medical diagnosis and complications. He has undergone numerous procedures, surgeries, and medical appointments. Five of these surgeries were brain surgeries, including a complete left hemispherotomy intended to alleviate his epilepsy, which unfortunately did not succeed. Jax has a VP shunt, Vagal Nerve Stimulator and G-tube to help sustain life.
