Name: Carter
Champion Athlete: Laci Jones
Champion High School Team: Lake Travis Football

At 15 months old, Carter was diagnosed with Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC).

He suffers from sporadic onset paralysis due to a number of triggers (weather changes, bright light, cold water and windy conditions). Carter suffers from paralysis of one or both sides of his body about 75% of his life. The episodes come on randomly and can last from 1 to 14 days. When both sides are paralyzed he cannot walk, talk or eat. Carter has had every test imaginable done. As of now, there is no medication or treatment for his disorder.

Some Lake Travis Football fans may have noticed Carter on the sidelines at the games or in the varsity photo. He is excited and proud to be an honorary member of the LT Cavaliers and is ALL IN!
